https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MVDBSNN

The results that I got from my survey that most people tend to own a smartphone. In addition to this, it also showed that when people are buying a smartphone, they tend to look for the speed and the tech inside of it. The price of smartphone seem to have the benchmark of £300. Some people may argue that this is just about right where as, others say this is a little expensive.

Market Research

There are different forms of adverts that are shown, but they show all the key features. One advert thats is rememberable is the Samsung Galaxy 11. This adverts is in the style of "famous faces", it shows some of the worlds best football players using the phone as well as highlighting all the key features of the phone all in one go. Another existing advert that is also popular is the official introduction of the phone itself. Like the other advert, this one shows all the key features that it has. What this does is makes it really honest as well as not making misleading towards the viewers.

Overall all the adverts all show the same elements, they show this y highlighting all the special features by doing this they make really good adverts from doing. Using a range of styles they make it rememberable. In addition they use a range of music to suit the type of advert. If there is one thing to add to these it would a bit of comedy. Just by doing this it makes it even more rememberable and enjoyable to watch.

AS2: Task Three - Requirements for a production

For our advert we have to come up with time frame as well as a reasonable budget. We have set the time frame to 4months. It is really important that we stick to this to ensure that the advert will be completed and ready to present. What this does is make the client reassured and have some faith in your work.

For our advert we will need to hire out a camera set, this is cheap and fits our budget perfectly. To find our items we will have to go online and get them delivered to us.
The cost of this will be £665.

For our filming locations we decide to stay local. We will be using our local park. We do not need to ask for permission but if someone else who isn't part of filming we will need their approval to keep them in the advert, if not we will have to re-record. To get to our locations, we just have to walk for 5-10mins. Furthermore our locations could face some problems such as, the area it-self could be busy and it will limit us to be able to record there. Also where it is outside were dependent on the weather, if it is raining we wouldn't like to damage the equipment.

AS2: Task Four

For our advert we have to make sure we don't run into any big problems. To prevent these problems from happing, we will have to look at ways to get to avoid getting hit copyright. Do prevent that from happing we will have to look for music providers the create "copyright" free music. In addition we must look at different adverts as well, so people do not get the idea that we have stolen a idea from a certain advert.

Secondly we must make sure that our advert is truthful and not made up. If the advert was to be made up, it will lead the viewers to be mislead, leaving them confused and de-baiting wither or not to buy the product. To prevent product placement we will have to be careful with our filming, by doing this we prevent people from getting the idea of promoting something else other than our product that we are trying to sell.

AS2: Task Two - Ideas Generation

The type of form that we are the we will be using is a "stand alone". The style that we have gone for is humour, by doing this it makes the advertisement for rememberable for the viewer. The content that we are gonna show is how the phone and withstand just about anything. We will do this by showing how it is waterproof as well as being scatter resistance. Our target audience will be aimed at 11+ ages. The advert will appeals to our audience because we will show all the positive and negative points of the phone. The USP (unique selling point), is the camera, finger recognition as well as the S-health.

TASK 4 - Regulation

Regulation

Regulation is important because adverts are meant to be accurate and must not be misleading. If there was no regulation wasn't here, modern adverts would leave viewers could be left confused.

The role of OfCom is to show the intrests of the people and buyers. Also they protect them from harmful content. The role ASA is to make sure that all types of media are legal, truthful and honset. If a advert wasn't to follow this, it will have to be removed.

Some areas of advertising that ASA are concener with with is the radio and TV. They believe what ever is played should mislead viewers.

The frist question that ASA ask is, "Is the advert inccurate or misleading". This means that the advert is not speaking the truth. The second question is, "Might it cause offence to people seeing it". This suggest that is thia advert racist in any way or form and does it provoke a reaction.

The intervation has change tabocco adverts because in this day and age, adverts from the 1930s wouldn't be a-loud today. The reasons why is because the advert would be misleading and inaccurate, due to the fact fact we all know that smoking is really bad for our health.

Task 3 - Analysing a television advertisement in detail.

The type of form of advert is in is humour. It uses as well as says some funny things to make the advert more enjoyable to watch. The target audience for teenagers and young adults. This adverts seems to create an emotional response by make the viewer feel happy. They do this make making the advert exciting to pump up viewers so that they look forward to when the product is released. They also use a celebrity endorsement to boost their popularity for the product that they'll be releasing. At the end it use a brand identity at the end so that the viewer knows what they are watching. In addition they use a "point of view" angle, what this does is that it gives us an idea what it will be like in game.
